I have some tips to ensure you have a secure and convenient way to manage your accounts at the Anchor Bank. You can help protect your Anchor Bank accounts with a few simple steps:
  • If you don’t recognize the sender, do not ever try to open the email you received. Delete it without opening.
  •  Beware of any emails requesting for your authentication, asking for personal information or indicates a problem with your Anchor Bank accounts. Do not reply by email if you receive an email like this. Call your Anchor Bank office to notify them of the fraudulent Email immediately. Keep in mind that The Anchor Bank does not request account or personal information from their customer by pop-up windows or email.
  • Do not ever try to open  the attachments from an unknown sender.
  • Only give your personal information if you initiated the sign on process to our account at Anchor Bank through AnchorLink® Internet Banking.
  • Keep your access ID or password, do not share with anyone. For security, change Anchor Link password online as often as possible.
  • Do not use names, birthday, or phone numbers for your ID and password that might be easy for others to determine.
  • Keep In mind that an Anchor Bank employee will never need to know your password, and you should never furnish it to anyone claiming to represent Anchor Bank.
  • Call Anchor Link Support and establish a security "question and answer" that will identify you in case you should need to make any changes to your service or change your password.
  • Exit from Anchor Link Internet Banking immediately after your banking activities finish. Do not leave your computer with your account information on the screen. Close your browser after logging out to clear any account information from your browser’s memory.
  • Choose an ISP with powerful security practices. Inquire of several ISPs about their security practices. Choose one you believe has your security as a priority.
  • Install the powerful antivirus on your computer.
